CFSC Goes a-Caroling

What: Neighborhood activity
When: Thursday, December 17, 1998
6:00pm
Where: 108 East Marshall Street
Ithaca, NY
How Much: Free!

Every December the Cornell Folk Song Club goes out caroling from door to door in an unsuspecting Ithaca neighborhood. This year we will gather at 6:00 PM at 108 E. Marshall Street on Thursday, December 17th, and from there venture out through the rain or snow or under the stars to serenade neighbors and strangers. Everyone is welcome, but remember we will be singing those patriarchal, non-de-genderized, potential offensive, yet wonderfully transcendent, traditional Christmas carols. Caroling books will be provided.

After our cold feet can take us no further, we will return to our gathering place and feast on cookies and sweets, cider and cocoa, and maybe some wassail. Bring a dessert or beverage to share.

For directions or encouragement, call Liza at 272-6618.
