After hosting the Ithaca contra dance for 25 years, we held an Anniversary potluck dinner on 14-Mar-2008. Humorously, the local newpaper printed a congratulatory note the next week (with a "thumbs-up" symbol next to it!) and with the dinner announcement for 21-Mar. What could we do? Pamela and I catered a second potluck dish and arrived early for the second week in a row. But, it seems, nobody reads the newpaper.
